Because she's well trained! Cheryl Cole oozes Gothic glamour in strapless black dress with dramatic flowing train as she attends Foxcatcher premiere during the 67th Cannes Film Festival

She has walked many red carpets throughout her illustrious career.

And on Monday evening Cheryl Cole showed just how well trained she is when it comes to attending big events as she made a breathtaking entrance at the premiere of the Foxcatcher during the 67th Cannes Film Festival.

The 30-year-old, who had opted for a rather racy look the evening before, looked the epitome of style in a black  strapless dress with a stunning layered train that blew delicately behind her as she walked.

The singer, who is on the French Riviera as a L’Oreal spokesperson, managed to show off her petite legs as she strolled as the dress fell just above her knees.

The gorgeous gown, which featured an interested layered fabric detail, was teamed with a pair of stiletto heels with three thin straps.

Of course being there as a representative for a cosmetic company meant the Girls Aloud star had a sexily styled messy chignon and smouldering dark make-up.

She's made-up: Cheryl looked typically stunning wearing her hair off her face in a bouffant style and with a pair of intricate drop earrings

Come flow with me: As Cheryl walked her dress lifted behind her creating a dramatic effect

Stepping up: Cheryl was given a helping hand as she made her way up the steps with the train flowing behind her

Cheryl was joined on the red carpet by the stars of the film, including Channing Tatum, Steve Carrell and Mark Ruffalo, who were no doubt delighted after the powerfully disturbing true-crime saga debuted to rave reviews earlier in the day.

A whole host of other stars were also on hand to walk the red carpet, including fellow L'Oreal spokeswoman Eva Longoria, who made sure she too turned heads as she walked the red carpet.

The 39-year-old wore a high neck nude dress, which featured long sleeves as well a floor length skirt. It wasn't entirely demure though as it also featured a cut-out section in the front revealing her bare chest.

Oh boy: (L-R) US actor Mark Ruffalo, US actor Channing Tatum, and US director Bennett Miller enjoy their moment

Big hair, don't care: Cheryl's hair was stunningly styled with plenty of volume, showing off her blonde highlights

Like Cheryl she also had her hair perfectly styled, opting for a fish tail plait which fell to one side of her head and she finished her look with dramatic eye make-up.

Cheryl wasn't the only one to wear a skirt featuring a long train, actress Jessica Chastain made sure it wasn't just the front of her dress which impressed.

As she walked along the red carpet her billowing skirt lifted in the wind, making her gorgeous purple dress even more memorable. | Beach Wedding Dresses

Full drama: It was as Cheryl walked up the steps that the full drama of the skirt could really be seen

Care: Cheryl seemed to take care as she walked so the dress could be seen in all it's glory

Toned: Cheryl's dress revealed her bare shoulders as well as her toned arms, it also accentuated her tiny waist as it was fitted around the middle

Confident: The singer looked rather pleased with her outfit and posed happily for the hundreds of photographers who had come out to see her

Foxcatcher, which critics are already tipping for Oscars, is the real-life story of a chemical fortune heir who went to prison for killing an Olympic wrestler.

He was later ruled to be mentally ill and sent to prison where he died in 2010. Tatum recently spoke to the LA Times about making Foxcatcher.

The heart throb said: 'It was the hardest acting challenge I've had to date.

'It’s a bit of a weird science experiment to put these guys up on the screen because no one really understands what happened or why it happened.
